Program Teaching English as a Foreign Language (International Program)

Degree Master of Education (M.Ed.)

 

Plan B: Thesis and coursework (Curriculum Code: 4483)

To be eligible for admission to the regular Master’s program, an applicant must:

1. hold a Bachelor’s degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent in

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) majoring in English or teaching English language, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts (B.A.) majoring in English, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts (B.A.) majoring in English, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in other fields related to English or linguistics;

2. have the minimum cumulative GPA requirement for admission to the Master’s Program is 2.75 on 4.00 system in Bachelor’s degree; and

3. have the minimum requirement of English proficiency score designated below. The test results need to be valid during all the application processes, not more than 2 years since the date of taking the test.

Plan C: Coursework and Comprehensive Exam (Curriculum Code: 4484)

To be eligible for admission to the regular Master’s program, an applicant must:

1. hold a Bachelor’s degree (normally from a four-year program), or its equivalent in

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) majoring in English or teaching English language, or
  • Bachelor’s degree in other fields;

2. have the minimum cumulative GPA requirement for admission to the Master’s Program is 2.75 on 4.00 system in Bachelor’s degree; and

3. have the minimum requirement of English proficiency score designated below. The test results need to be valid during all the application processes, not more than 2 years since the date of taking the test.

After you have been admitted to the program (pass the interview process and you are already a student at our university) the students will nominated by the program committee.
