1. How do I apply to this program?
To be considered for admission to the program, you must fulfill all the required admission criteria. First, complete the program application (Online TEFL Application Form), followed by the Graduate School application (Online Registration System - Chulalongkorn University Graduate School). 2. What are the deadlines for admission?
Applications are generally accepted in two rounds per year. Admission for the first semester typically occurs between February and March, while the second-semester admission opens in September. 3.What documents do I need to include with my application?
You are required to submit academic transcripts, a valid English proficiency test report, a statement of purpose, two letters of recommendation, and other necessary documents. 4.What English Proficiency Tests do I require?
You must meet the minimum requirement of the English proficiency score designated below. Test results must be valid throughout the application process and should not exceed two years from the test date. 5. Is it possible to get admitted first and have the English Proficiency test report submitted later?
No. As per Chulalongkorn University regulations, applicants must submit a valid English proficiency test report before admission. The test report must be valid during all the application processes, not more than 2 years since the date of taking the test.
6. What are the cumulative GPA requirements for admission?
You must have a minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 2.75 on 4.00 system in Bachelor’s degree. An official document certifying the conversion of your GPA to the 4.00 scale must be provided if your official transcript is not in the 4.0.
7. How much does the application fee cost?
The application fee is 34 USD or 1,000 Thai Baht. This fee is non-refundable and does not include transfer charges.
